As I wrote above, nothing happens when I click on the wrench. Can I edit
some config-file?

Is there still a wrench/spanner in the top-left when you open the shelf, IE
two of them now? The settings for 'hidden' and 'visible' are independent
so you can have both enabled. When I just tested with both enabled, the
'visible' one didn't work but the 'hidden' one (opened shelf) worked, and I
was able to re-disabled the visible spanner.

You can also try renaming/removing /home/root/.e/e/config and then run
/etc/init.d/xserver-nodm restart - that should remove all the E17 config
 settings in one fell swoop.

The other wrench in the pulldown menu wasn't there. I moved the config to
config-old and after xserver restart it went thru the basic configuration
again (and the wrench is working again). Thanks. :-)

Remove GTK themeing from ASU

2008-08-19 Thread Dylan Semler
FSO at times seems a lot more usable than ASU because it doesn't have any of
the old 2007.2 orange themeing. In ASU it tends to oversize the icons and
cause them fit poorly in toolbars and such (see the terminal and tangoGPS).
Is there any way for a user to remove the orage gtk+ theme from ASU?

Try this one:

http://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support

The https link doesn't work becasue it's using what appears to be a
self-signed certificate for a different domain (sita.openmoko.org instead of
lists.openmoko.org). You can either add an exception (if your browser will let
you) or just deal with the fact that your list password will be send in the
clear.
