Yeah, I don't think that will work. It's designed to forward to mail exchangers behind the firewall. [pfSense Support] pfSense and SpamD
Hi I'm trying to setup pfSense with SpamD (Greylisting and tarpit). In the first setup with the "real" Mailserver behind the NAT it works perfectly, but if I setup the forwarding to a server with a "public" IP no mails are forwarded. Are there any limitations? There are some very reasonable managed HP ProCurve switches, including fanless ones http://www.procurve.com/news/fanless1800.htm While I have used Netgear, I much prefer ProCurve. Re: [pfSense Support] DNS corrupt? How to fix
Hi Jeremy I had such problems once with a "wrong" MTU set in pfSense... Some sites did work, others not... Greetings, Fabian So there is one website which I know to be up and working that I am trying to access. When I am behind my pfsense/Alix 2c3, it does not work (will not load in a browser, will not ping, however every other site on the internet works--this holds true for any computer on the network). When I plug the modem directly into computer, the site in question loads right up. A week or so ago I was changing DNS servers in my PF webgui... could I have corrupted a DNS cache somewhere? I tried resetting to factory defaults and restoring my config, but that did not work. Any ideas? Is there a way to flush everything stored on the device but the config? Thanks for the help, looking forward to the book... Any chance there will be a kindle version? - To unsubscribe, e-mail: support-unsubscr...@pfsense.com For additional commands, e-mail: support-h...@pfsense.com Commercial support available - https://portal.pfsense.org
