I just got this email with the subject [pfSense Support] Intel Gigabit - em0: Watchdog Timeout (which is part of a conversation about a network card issue that I have) and the preview line in my email shows Been there, done that. This is a drive problem. Here is how to fix it Does anyone else see why this is annoying? (Also, while it does not bother me - because my email client filters the duplicate parts out of the message - , please keep in mind that many people on this list ask that you do not top-post) - Yehuda

IMHO it isn't a new topic as the last posts talked about possible hardware/drive problems. And additionally Ozan posted a link to a web forum regarding the driver issue. And so he was on topic in any case. But here: please keep in mind that many people on this list ask that you do not top-post) you're right. Sorry for the wrong subject line in my first reply - sent without checking it first. Obviously my MUA tried to repair Yehuda's subject (parenthesis - square brackets). Hmm. [pfSense Support] OpenVPN issues
I had working OpenVPN with pfsense 1.2.3, however with 2.0-RC1 the server is handing the wrong mask and no gateway to the clients, I have tried the wizard and changing different subnets, no matter what the server is handing out /30 instead of /32. Firewalls rules are in place to allow clients through the firewall. Any ideas? Thank, Sam Hammand

If you check the box to redirect the gateway, then OpenVPN should push a new default gateway to the client. Can you show the routing table from the client side so we can better see what the problem is? (On BSD and such it's usually netstat -rn, on windows it's route print) Also, if the client is on Windows Vista or 7, make sure you are running the client as Administrator or it can't alter the routes.
