[pfSense Support] Changing Nat reflection on an existing rule doesnt appear to work. 2.0RC3
Hi there, Running 2.0RC3 (upgraded over time from the initial 2 RC1(?) install a while back) it appears that if I change the NAT reflection rule of an already existing Port forward from system default to enable and after applying the changes along with resetting the states it does not appear to work. A reboot doesn't fix this also. I have other rules that was setup to do NAT reflection from the start and they work fine. It is just these few rules that I setup without and I now want to change. I realise I could do split DNS but thought this may possibly be a bug or am I doing something wrong? Saturday I will be able to delete the rule and recreate with Nat reflection enabled if there is no work around. Cheers Gavin

[pfSense Support] dialup router
I'm trying to build a dialup router on an HP t5710. It has 512 MB of flash and a single serial port, which I intend to use for an external modem. I'm wondering if a generic install of 1.2.3 or 2.0 will fit on the 512 MB of flash, or can I do an embedded install and disable the console so that the serial port can be freed up for the modem. Any insight? db - To unsubscribe, e-mail: support-unsubscr...@pfsense.com For additional commands, e-mail: support-h...@pfsense.com Commercial support available - https://portal.pfsense.org
[pfSense Support] Failover from WAN1 to WAN2 with VPN
Hi all, I'm on pfSense 2.0 RC1, and I'm triyng to set up Failover between two WANs. My configuration : -WAN1 (simple configuration) -WAN2 with VPN interface ( tun) Failover: Gw_WAN1 : Tier 1 Gw_WAN2 : Tier 2 I want to say that local connection goes through VPN and Internet connections through WAN1, and if it goes down then internet connection goes through WAN2. The problem that is not working at all. If I set down one of the interface the internet traffic goes not go through the other. Any ideas ? RC3 will do it?
