You didn't mention any issue, what's the issue? Generally that either
works out of the box, or you need one of the things here, usually the
first one or first and second.

[pfSense Support] siproxd package on 2.0

2010-03-09 Thread Aarno Aukia
Hello,

We are testing 2.0 (on our office firewall) and can't install the
siproxd package. It is unfortunately also marked ? in the package
status spreadsheet
(http://spreadsheets.google.com/pub?key=tFSe4gIfr3P0Nr1uYLxCHdwsingle=truegid=0output=html).
How/where can we enable more debugging output to figure out what
exactly fails to try to fix it ?

Regards,
Aarno

[pfSense Support] siproxd + Multi Wan

2009-07-26 Thread Reza A. Ambler
Hi everyone,
I currently have pfSense version 1.2.2 installed. I have 3 interfaces WAN, LAN,
and T1 (Opt1). I setup siproxd originally with inbound as LAN and outbound as
WAN and everything was working smoothly. I have tried configuring siproxd to go
out of the T1 interface and have been unsuccessful. I am able to make the call
out, however no audio comes back.

After configuring the siprox daemon to send data out on the T1 interface I ran
pfctl -s all and found the following rule.

pass in quick on rl0 reply-to (rl0 70.166.15.129) inet proto tcp from any to
any port 7069
8101 flags S/SA keep state label USER_RULE: sip rtp

Interface rl0 is my WAN interface, and rl1 is my T1 interface. It doesn't look
like siproxd's package is updating the firewall rule correctly. I attempted to
set the following rule

Any suggestions? We need the VoIP traffic to go out of our T1 because the COX
communications cable modem has too much intermittent packet loss.

Thanks,
-Reza

You'll probably have to switch the interface you want to use with SIP
to WAN, as with any service running on the firewall itself, it'll
follow the system routing table. If you're just going to one
destination host or network, adding a static route to point that out
your second WAN may suffice.

[pfSense Support] Siproxd PPPoE Interface Problem

2005-09-08 Thread Berger Stefan
Hello,

I'am using pfsense 0.83.2 with package siproxd-0.5.11
I'm using two NICs em0 and em1 where em1 is my WAN
Interface with PPPoE and em0 with several VLANS as Options

When I configure siproxd via the web gui I get
Following Error :

Sep 7 17:14:54 siproxd: utils.c:325 ERROR:can't find interface em1 -
configuration error?
Sep 7 17:34:54 siproxd: utils.c:422 ERROR:Error in ioctl SIOCGIFADDR:
Can't assign requested address (interface em1)

I have checked /usr/local/etc/siproxd.conf and changed my outbound
interface from em1 to ng0 = ng0 seems to be my pppoe session ;
solved my problem

Another problem seems to be the restart of the siproxd service as you
get following message after you have changed something via the web gui

syslogd: kernel boot file is /boot/kernel/kernel

Is it possible to fix this problems ?

Best regards
Stefan
