Pidgin

I am using the IM everyday and would like to suggest something added into
the Pidgin IM. Is there a way I can see a user logged into the IM? Like a
balloon showing user logged in. You have setup for sounds when the user is
logging into the IM but I can't hear the sounds because I am hearing
impaired.

 We came to know that Pidgin does not encrypt the users' password when
 they choose Remember Password options in the accounts windows.

 Is there any workaround for this as this will be security issue in any
 organization as local administrators having access to the .purple
 folder.

I highly recommend Guifications [current version 2.16] Toaster Pop-Up
notification Plug-In.
