Is there anyway to choose a second soundcard for pidgin to use?
I have a somewhat strange request. On my work PC I constantly have my headphones plugged in as I use a VOIP system. These headphones are USB and act as a second sound card. I don't always wear these headphones so if I don't have them on, I can't hear when I receive a new message using pidgin. Is there any way that I can choose which soundcard Pidgin uses? I would like it to use my internal soundmax card instead of the gn2100 headset soundcard. Thanks, Joel ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? There is a Skype plugin, it is not written or supported by the Pidgin developers, and it can't be included with Pidgin due to its incompatible licence. > Please send me a link to download this plugin! You will need to search for this yourself, although there might be some links in the list archive if you search there. -- Brian Morrison ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? You still have to have Skype open and logged in to use it. All the plugin does is merge the buddy list with Pidgin (supposedly, it didn't work at all for me the way it said it would) to let you know who is and isn't online. All IMs, Voice and Video stuff is still handled by Skype. -- Yours In Christ, PIT Emails are not formal business letters, whatever businesses may want. signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? Skinning
I am having trouble skinning my pidgin. I have downloaded a theme, but when I put it in the GTK theme folder it's not appearing on GTK theme selector's menu. Am I putting it in the wrong destination? ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? Use this link: http://pidgin.im/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/support

Sort by log size
I recently upgrade to the latest version of pidgin (I have no idea what version I was using before). I noticed the Sort by Log Size option is gone (or I can't find it). Why was it removed? I've been using Gaim/Pidgin basically forever and now it's decided to reorder my buddy list. Given that the main UI is basically a list of people, removing one of the options to sort that list seems like a pretty significant change. Please reply to my email address since I'm not on this distribution list. Thanks, -Durham ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe?
