I don't always wear these headphones so if I don't have them on, I can't hear when I receive a new message using pidgin. Is there any way that I can choose which soundcard Pidgin uses? I would like it to use my internal soundmax card instead of the gn2100 headset soundcard. Which OS are you using? FW: List Handler does not copy as i want it to
_ From: Michelle [mailto:michel...@freightfusion.net] Sent: Monday, January 25, 2010 3:14 PM To: 'support@pidgin.im' Subject: List Handler does not copy as i want it to Hi I do not seem to understand the list handler plugin I have now got it on my pidgin but I can seem to copy my buddies from one account to another. I click on the list handler choose the account I want to copy from then click on copy then select the account I want to copy to and then click on add. Now all my buddies add to the account I wanted to copy from? Can you also explain to me why I can only copy to accounts that are on my pidgin? These are 2 problems I would like to solve. The most important problem is how do I get it to copy properly. Can you please get back to me a.s.a.p. as this is for work and it cannot wait Best Regards Michelle __ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4803 (20100125) __ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com __ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4823 (20100201) __ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? I currently have a subscription to a yellowjacket chatting service and I was hoping to find the same functionality in pidgin. Thank you for the help. Katelyn Pidgin does have a log viewer, it's easy to bring up and if you've enabled logging, you'll find chat logs (I recommend plain-text logging as HTML just unnecessarily bloats the log file). I'm not sure it will be real time, but um, what's the point in viewing chat logs in real time? If you're adding to the log in an active discussion, the active chat window could be described as a real time log viewer. Hope this helps. -- Yours In Christ, PIT Emails are not formal business letters, whatever businesses may want. signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? Re: Help Logging all conversation History
I will note; the History plugin might help your needs, it will display the previous chat's history in the same window as the current chat, only per user; also, the closest thing I can think of that will give you all the history in the way you want it is the Transcript Viewer in Adium, which is really similar to that of Pidgins, although a bit more robust. Good luck with your search :) -Michael --Original Message-- Subject: From: Programmer In Training p...@joseph-a-nagy-jr.us To: Date: February 1, 2010 2:38:26 PM + On 2/1/2010 8:31 AM, Katelyn Seager wrote: I am researching different messaging services for a trader.
