That's to be expected. Google Talk *is* XMPP; the account type in the drop-down is just there as a hint for people who are unaware of that fact. Are you having an actual problem connecting to your GTalk account? If so, what is it? Do you see an error in the Buddy List window? What does the Help->Debug Window show? ~Paul signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? Re: Pidgin 2.6.6 - Ubuntu 9.10: 100% CPU
Hello everyone. I was on #pidgin IRC channel and asked the question. Can I use Pidgin 2.0.2 smileys on my web project? The guy told me that he can't answer that definitively and pruposed to send an email to the development mailing list. So here I am. Can I use Pidgin smileys in my social network project? Thank you in advance, Vlad. ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? Use this link: http://pidgin.im/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/support
Re: Pidgin 2.6.6 on Nokia N800
Just as an fyi - the Nokia N800 isn't a cell phone, it's an internet tablet. It has no actual phone capabilities, even though it is pretty much a phone form factor. OTOH - the Nokia N900, which I'm replying from right now, is a cell phone, though at the heart it's still an internet tablet, though it does have actual phone capabilities, can and does run Pidgin, quite well actually. It handles connection switches quite well, though with AIM accounts, you'll get the obligatory IM from AIM's services when you switch connections that you're signed on in two places. -Michael On Wed, 17 Mar 2010 09:22:18 +0100 "Dagobert Duck" wrote: > Yeah, really sounds, like T9 is also running in Pidgin. Yeah, really sounds, like T9 is also running in Pidgin. I wouldn't mind in your position. On the other hand it could also be a pidgin plugin running, it's called Pidgin Autoanswer.
