Hi Daniel , Those characters work very well on Word Docs because my Word Docs are in Spanish. Those characters are automatically detected in the word document and provides option because I switch between British English and Spanish International. Is there any possibility to do so in the Pidgin also. Not on server list issue w/ Yahoo Messenger
Hello- I've been trying to add a buddy who uses Yahoo Messenger. I see her name under offline buddies with a note not on server list and a red icon - a circle with slash. I looked through the development tab of other cases and see that this is common, but didn't find any cases with a resolution. Has one been found now? I'm using *Pidgin 2.7.1* (libpurple 2.7.1). The current version of Pidgin is 2.10.1, so your version is now very much out of date. I think that at least one of the fixes since 2.7.1 is to do with the type of problem you are suffering so the first thing to do is to download and install the updated version.
