I presume that you feel the need to do this because something is going wrong. To have any chance of anyone finding a solution, you need to provide as much information as possible about what is going wrong. That will include exactly what you were trying to do at the time, error messages, and will probably include the contents of the debug window. You also need to say which version you are using, and the environment in which you are using it, in particular which service(s) you are trying to use, possibly the OS, and anything about the way you connect to the internet that may impose restrictions. -- David Woolley Emails are not formal business letters, whatever businesses may want. It might have helped when DLL Hell was more prevalent, and a subsequent install had downdated a DLL. -- David Woolley Emails are not formal business letters, whatever businesses may want. Re: Openfire 3.7.1 + Pidgin Client - LDAP user password update on Pidgin clients

No. It is, however, possible to set up Openfire to be able do Single-Sign On with Active Directory (http://community.igniterealtime.org/docs/DOC-1060). Once you get that working, you can set up Pidgin to also authenticate using your windows credentials (http://pidgin.im/pipermail/support/2009-August/004892.html). -D ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? Custom smileys in SILC
Hello, I have recently stepped over the SILC protocol and I really like it, as well as the possibility to send images directly (pardon my lack of professional vocabulary ;) ). But the problem is, Pidgin's custom smiley system doesn't seem to work with SILCat least it didn't with me. So...is it possible to use it or something similar? What I want to do is the following: - I want to define 'Strings' in advance and link them to an image. For example :test: - send 'test.jpg' - If I type :test: in Pidgin, it should detect it and automatically send test.jpg Of course, this is exactly what the (great) Custom Smileys do...but, as I said, I can't get them to work with SILC. So is there any possibility to do something like this? Thanks in advance, Michael ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe?
