Then perhaps stating where you are with the application that you cannot next figure out what to do. To activate the webcam during an conversation that supports it, you would go to: "Conversation" menu -> "Media" -> "Video Call". However Pidgin current only works with Video calls when using UNIX type operating systems such as Linux. Also it currently can only be used with the XMPP (Jabber/GoogleTalk) protocol. On windows you would just need to press the Windows key, type the word Pidgin and press enter. Many modern Linux based systems Pidgin can be found through the same method, however if not you can usually find it in the operating systems menus under the "Internet" section. It would then start up and show you a Wizard to help add accounts. Regards Phil Hannent ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? However as far as I am aware Pidgin uses the GTK Themes which are not linked directly to the Windows XP themes. You can alter the GTK themes via a plugin in Pidgin. Buddy List -> Tools -> Plugins -> Pidgin GTK+ Theme Control -> Configure I am not sure if what you are looking for is within that Plugin, if not then someone that knows more would possibly be able to point you in the right direction.
