Problem Installing Pidgin with google talk
Dear Sirs, I am looking for days at the discussions in the forum but nothing solved the problem. I get that my user is not authorized. Also, when I send a message I get XMPP error (404). I have a Asus and I am working on Windows 8. How do I solve it? best, Michel ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? Use this link: http://pidgin.im/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/support
Re: Insert Image?
Good morning, The insert image option is protocol specific. The code for each protocol needs to have been written. I have just checked my 2.10.7 on windows and here is the results: XMPP/Jabber: No MSN: No Yahoo: No AIM: Yes IRC: No Which protocols do you use? Henry wrote: demented developer? I haven't seen any plug-ins available to make it work either. I've used pidgin on Linux and Windows machines, and it's the same regardless of platform/OS version, etc. Please help me understand this anomaly. It is only enable if OPT_PROTO_IM_IMAGE is set. That is set for, for example, sametime, myspace, silc, aim, icq and mxit, but not for MSN. It can be selectively disabled in sametime. -- David Woolley Emails are not formal business letters, whatever businesses may want. RFC1855 says there should be an address here, but, in a world of spam, that is no longer good advice, as archive address hiding may not work. ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe?
