Announce: Pidgin v2.6.5 released
As there's still no announce@ list (and people have complained about it) and this release contains a security fix, this is a note that Pidgin v2.6.5 is released. All binaries typically provided are available (Windows, some RPMs, and the Ubuntu PPA). In addition to a security fix, this release fixes a number of other crash-ey bugs and includes a number of platform-specific build fixes. See the ChangeLog (which is somewhere on http://pidgin.im :-P) for more details. ~Paul ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? Re: Announce: Pidgin v2.6.5 released
My copy on Windows (I believe it was 2.6.4) popped up an alert telling me 2.6.5 has been released. Better than a announce list, IMHO. :) On 1/11/2010 12:52 PM, Paul Aurich wrote: > As there's still no announce@ list (and people have complained about it) and > this release contains a security fix, this is a note that Pidgin v2.6.5 is > released. > > All binaries typically provided are available (Windows, some RPMs, and the > Ubuntu PPA). And how can potential users and folks who wait for 2.6.5 because they can't use 2.6.4 for whatever reason will get to know about this new version? matthias -- Matthias Apitz t +49-89-61308 351 - f +49-89-61308 399 - m +49-170-4527211 e - w http://www.unixarea.de/ Vote NO to EU The Lisbon Treaty: http://www.no-means-no.eu ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe?
