Re: Pidgin 2.6.6 on Nokia N800
Yeah, really sounds, like T9 is also running in Pidgin. I wouldn't mind in your position. On the other hand it could also be a pidgin plugin running, it's called Pidgin Autoanswer. Check your plugins. By the way: You are running Pidgin on a cell phone Didn't know, that's possible. Makes me happy to hear that. Is it running stable. I mean, is the connection stable when/although you change places/your location??? - Original Message - From: Bob Breckling bobflori...@comcast.net To: support@pidgin.im Sent: Wednesday, March 17, 2010 2:53 AM Subject: Pidgin 2.6.6 on Nokia N800 As I enter a message to a Buddy, I get additional words entered as if Pidgin is anticipating what I am trying to type. Re: Pidgin 2.6.6 on Nokia N800
Just as an fyi - the Nokia N800 isn't a cell phone, it's an internet tablet. It has no actual phone capabilities, even though it is pretty much a phone form factor. OTOH - the Nokia N900, which I'm replying from right now, is a cell phone, though at the heart it's still an internet tablet, though it does have actual phone capabilities, can and does run Pidgin, quite well actually. It handles connection switches quite well, though with AIM accounts, you'll get the obligatory IM from AIM's services when you switch connections that you're signed on in two places. -Michael On Wed, 17 Mar 2010 09:22:18 +0100 Dagobert Duck dagobertd...@vodafone.de wrote: Yeah, really sounds, like T9 is also running in Pidgin. Re: Pidgin 2.6.6 on Nokia N800
Chances are this is in your settings on your N800. On the N900 (maemo) it's under Settings Text input. -Michael Original Message Subject: Pidgin 2.6.6 on Nokia N800 From: Bob Breckling bobflori...@comcast.net To: support@pidgin.im Date: 3/16/2010 9:53 PM As I enter a message to a Buddy, I get additional words entered as if Pidgin is anticipating what I am trying to type. Please, when you reply, reply to this list as well so others can benefit from the information as well. -Michael Original Message Subject: Re: Pidgin 2.6.6 on Nokia N800 From: Bob Breckling bobflori...@comcast.net To: Michael Secord gizmokid2...@gmail.com Date: 3/16/2010 10:02 PM O, I was thinking it was it Pidgin.
