Pidgin Startup
Hello, Please forgive me if the answer is obvious, but I've looked and looked (searched the net, read the FAQ) and tried a few things and I cannot make this happen. I run: Windows XP Pro SP 3 Pidgin 2.6.3 Everything works great, but when the application starts, it doesn't "show buddy list". It starts minimized in the tray. I would like the window to open on top until I say minimize. I've tried downloading the Extended prefs but even that doesn't remember if I left it on top or not. So the question is: does it do this? Am I missing a check-box somewhere? do I need to submit a help ticket? Feature Request? Thanks for your time. Love the product. Any Help is appreciated. Best, ECZ -- Edward C. Pidgin Startup Question
Hello, I was wondering how I can get Pidgin to startup when my computer starts up. I am probably just overlooking it, but could you please help? Many thanks! Have a look at the buddy list options plugins. There is an option for start up state in that. You will need the Pidgin plugin pack if you don't have it. -- Brian Morrison "I am not young enough to know everything" Oscar Wilde ___ Support@pidgin.im mailing list Want to unsubscribe? Re: Pidgin Startup Question
Your operating system has a folder where applications go and will be launched at startup most likely. Just put a shortcut in that folder. At 02:28 PM 12/10/2007, Dayton T.
