Hello guys. I'm trying to connect my Yahoo account into Pidgin, but it just does not work.is there any work around to get this done, I have the latest version from Pidgin. I am having issues with talking with others through Yahoo. They can see my status, and I receive their instant messages, but they do not receive mine. Could someone help me? Hi Pidgin, I'ved upgraded to 2.5.8 and I have been having troubles with Yahoo since then. I can longer type to my Yahoo friends on it. I can receive their messages but, they cannot see mine. Do you use Pidgin on Windows? If you think this is an issue with our software, you will need to provide us with the debug log and packet capture. The packet capture can be obtained using a software like wireshark. For debug log, you can open the debug window (Help Debug Window), and then save the log to a file after you have experienced the problem, in this case sending messages to a buddy. It would be preferable if you file a ticket at http://developer.pidgin.im/newticket, and provide us the log and capture. Then a suitable developer can take a look at it.
