sixe is 255px x 222px in stead of 16px x 16px.

displays correctly in FF3, but not in SM?

Now that you mention it... It's clearly a SeaMonkey bug, one that I 
already saw with the ACID3 test page . The 
problem is that in both cases the icon loaded doesn't have the usual 
size of a favicon and SeaMonkey fails to limit it to 16x16 pixels in the 
Bookmarks sidebar (in contrast to the location bar):


 
(obviously sent with wrong content type, save it to disk and view it 
from there!) is 255x222 pixels,  
is 150x150 pixels.


-> filed Bug 476740 (with a bit of luck it might even be fixed for SM2a3).

Problem solved.  Solution is to start FoxitReader
2. Click on "Help"
3. Click on "Check for Updates Now"
4. Choose the "FireFox Update" (Add)
5. Install

Foxit Reader 3.0 Build 1301

Foxit Reader is installed as default pdf reader.
Helper application for Navigator is 'open these files using the default
application"

When trying to open a link to a .pdf file in Navigator the error message
 "Foxit Reader OCX.ocx failed to load" is displayed.

Same operation using IE or "IE Tab" works.

Changing helper application to the c:\program files\foxit software\foxit
