Lightning will integrate into the MailNews window and you can open new

I've been running 1.0b4pre since it was available on SeaMonkey 2.1 linux
(32 & 64 bit) for some time now w/o any issues. Also tested on Win7 &
WinXP - again no issues. 1.0b4pre also picked up my previous calendars

I'm jealous! I do manage to get 30 fps on my laptop (linux 64bit
w/Mobile 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller) with SM 2.1RC1
(64bit).

Same machine: 15 fps w/Opera, 18 fps /chromium, 32 fps w/Firefox 4.0.1 &
oddly enough I can get it to run at all w/epiphany on this one.

So in this case, Mozilla is clearly the winner on that machine.

You should be able to access the Lightning preferences via the SeaMonkey

Edit->Preferences
Then click on the Lightning branch of the preference tree to expand that

No, I haven't tried that. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Interesting. Out of curiosity, I tried it myself (had never done it
before). CPU spiked to 95-99% and stayed there for about 10 minutes,
while RAM usage spiked from 150 MB (I had a video loaded) to about 320
MB, bounced around for awhile in that general range. Finally, SM
returned to normal and I was able to read messages and browse again.

However, when it did, the unread message count in this NG was zero,
despite the presence of six unread messages (in bold). As I advanced
through them using "N," the count stayed at zero, and when I got to the
last one, "N" prompted me to go to the first unread message in my mail
inbox.

My view settings were:
Sort by: Order received, Ascending, Threaded
Messages: All
Threads: Threads with unread

When the process completed, my threads setting had been changed to
"all." After I read all unread messages, I set it back to "Threads with
unread," and all threads disappeared as they should. In the past, when
it got confused about message count, it would display some threads
containing no unread messages. And it would also advance to unread
messages in response to "N."

We'll see how long this lasts before it gets confused again.

LOL! We had the same settings, and mine reset to show ALL threads as
well. I also remembered that it probably opened easily after rebuilding,
because it had dropped *everything*... that was prior to *that* day.

Well, the answer is, it lasted less than a day. It now shows a count of
one unread message, but there are no unread messages and when I hit "N"
it offers to advance to the first unread message in my mail inbox. It
also displays several threads, including this one, that have no unread
messages.

Since I'm a bit busy right now, I can't afford for the program to be
completely unresponsive at 95% CPU for ten minutes, so I won't rebuild
the summary file again. Not that it helped any...

Known. It is still in discussion if the workaround from SeaMonkey 2.0
will be ported to SeaMonkey 2.1
https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=636104

- Activating/Deactivating Calendars in the left Pane inside the

calendars in the Properties-Page.

This are actually different functions.

The checkbox next to the calendar name in the left pane toggles only the
calendar display. If unchecked the calendar will still be loaded, you
will get reminders for the events in the calendar but you won't see the
events in the calendar or task view.

The checkbox in the properties dialog can be used to completely switch
off the calendar. The calendar will not be loaded and therefore you will
not see reminders or events.

Is there already a german version ?

Localized test builds can be downloaded from
https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/calendar/lightning/nightly/latest-comm-miramar-l10n/

Please note that if the localization is not up-to-date the test builds
might not work at all and break in many ways. I think the page
https://l10n-stage-sj.mozilla.org/dashboard/?tree=calendar10x shows the
localization status for Lightning 1.0b4pre.

Will there be keyboard-shortcuts for accessing the calendar-tab from
