Seems to be. I have been using it since Mozilla Suite days and it is
working fine with 2.7 here and 2.9.1 at home.

Yes when I start Seamonkey 2.9.1 and open the Email section I noticed
the same problem. I see my account with a (-) sign visible on the left
side I have to click the (-) sign to see the folder structure.

No folder structure visible. I have to click.

I also have Seamonkey 2.7.2 Portable, it does not show this behaviour.
Here is how SM 2.9.1 should look:

Maciek, what you have to do is set SM up as you want it and then get SM
to save that setting.

Click on the little SeaMonkey icon up in the top left of the SM screen
and there should be an option there to save settings or similar.

You mean the one that offers
Restore
Move
Size
Minimize
Maximize
Close
as for every Windows program?

I used to know where to set SM to save/not save the layout, but I can't
seem to find it anymore.

You normally see the (-) sign when the folders are expanded/collapsed

Picture of Seamonkey 2.9.1 Email account with the (-) sign
No collapsed folder structure visible. I have to click to open the folders.

I also have Seamonkey 2.7.2 Portable, it does not show this behaviour.
Here is how SM 2.9.1 should look:

expanded folder structure visible.

http://i47.tinypic.com/v8cnt.jpg

To summarize:
(-) = expanded folder streucture
(+) = closed folder structure.

Seamonkey 2.9.1 shows (-) = closed folder stucture, that's wrong.
