Philip, Thank you very much for giving me some visual info about 2.21. I'm going to try 2.21 with NVDA 2013.1, which is the previous release. It should be easy to locate on Sourceforge. I have, however, used 2013.2, the current version, with SM2.20 and the status line was read properly. Still, I'll file a ticket with them and see if they can look into it, but I'm fairly certain it's something which changed with Seamonkey's email client. Thank you again. It just showed up in the Ubuntuzilla repository today. As usual, it installed just fine, no new issues to report. Excellent job, team! SeaMonkey 2.21 is a major mess!
I just upgraded to 2.21 from 2.20 on Windows 8 Pro. I lost ALL mail (already posted here about that). SeaMonkey is minimized to the Taskbar and when I try to maximize it, it behaves very weirdly. It shows the tabs in a vertical transparent list. I can't maximize it. It is COMPLETELY UNUSABLE AFTER MINIMIZING TO TASKBAR. It works normally as long as I don't minimize it (or open Mail window as then I cannot later go to SeaMonkey tabs window). Once minimized, it is crippled. I don't know how to describe it. Mail gone after upgrade to 2.21
Mail is all MISSING except "new" download of mail on server from Sept 18 to now. Mail from the last few days is not "new" as it was already in SeaMonkey mail 2.20. Thank goodness, I also use Thunderbird and Opera mail so it is not really missing except in SeaMonkey. I just upgraded to 2.21. I only have one email address set up in SeaMonkey but it is the one I use the most. All mail before Sept 18 is not there. This is on Windows 8 Pro.
