If you have both SeaMonkey and Firefox installed on your PC go to Program
Files/ Mozilla Firefox/ browser/ plugins and copy 'npMozCouponPrinter.dll'
Paste that .dll file in Program Files/ SeaMonkey/ plugins.
For some unknown reason Coupons.com coupon printer will not install in
SeaMonkey's plugin folder but this simple step solves the issue.

I thought the current version I'm using [IE Tab 2 (SM 2.0+) 5.12.12.1]
was working with both Windows, but now I don't see the IE Tab itself
anywhere to click on with SM 2.23.

I just noticed that myself today. If you have any bookmarks that were
to be opened in IE, those still work... but the icon to switch browser
engines doesn't appear anywhere on Windows7...

i just figured out that only version [IE Tab 2 (SM 2.0+) 4.12.22.2]
works now with both windows 7 and 8. the new version 5 i mentioned
before does not work. you have to install version 4 in your profile's
extensions folder for it to work.

Turns out I still have a copy of 4.12.22.2... but once I install it, how
do I prevent it from updating to the broken version all over again?

i had the same question. i think all you have to do is go to your
add-ons mgr. page and click the little wheel at the top right. make sure
there is not a checkmark in front of update add-ons automatically.

SM 2.23 constantly opening preview pane to warn about suspicious / junk mail

2013-12-27 Thread Michael Lueck

Greetings,

New with 2.23 is behavior to pop back open the preview pane to warn about suspicious / junk mail. This happens when I have spotted a not correctly classified junk email by subject/from line alone,
have pushed the icon in the junk status column. Instead of performing the usual behavior - move it to the junk folder, with version 2.23 suddenly the preview pane opens up to warn that SM suspects
it is junk email. Dddduuu!! I had to manually mark the message, and now you warn me and open the preview pane?!?

Most annoying new behavior with 2.23.

Is there a setting to switch off whatever got added to 2.23?

Blessings,
