SeaMonkey and Thunderbird do not ship the Firefox builtin PDF reader so
we are not affected by this. However there are other security and crash

Phil, are these win32 builds suitable for WOW64 type 32 bits??

The Sync 1.1 servers are shutting down. Whether SeaMonkey is going to be
allowed to use the Sync 1.5 (FxA) servers is currently a political football.

   Clues ?

The PAC file is Proxy Auto Config file, so SeaMonkey shouldn't be
trying to load a PAC file if it's set to directly connect to the
Internet. So try this
  Edit / Preferences / Advanced / Proxies
and select
  Direct connection to the Internet

This is what I've been using, yet the proxy message is still
present...

Maybe SeaMonkey looks for the PAC file even if it isn't going to
use it???

Try enabling automatic proxy config, removing thehttp://sourceforge
... URL info and setting it back to direct connection.

Lee

Exit SM, start it again, check that Direct connection to the
Internet
is still set (if no we need to figure out how it's being
cleared) and
then see if the error loading PAC file still shows up in the error
console

Edit / Preferences / Advanced / Proxies

If you're using [or want to use] Privoxy you should have
   Manual proxy configuration
checked
   127.0.0.1
as the Proxy and
   8118
as the port. & Privoxy has to be running or you won't be able

otherwise

I'm guessing you have

HELP where are SEAMONKEY downloads HELP!!!

2015-08-08 Thread action08
I run www.p2016.org, and educational site on presidential campaigns. It is
very intensive work requiring multiple updates each day.

Since launching this site and its predecessors in May 1998, I have used
Seamonkeyproject.2.014 and before that Netscape Composer to build and update.
These are basic WYSIWYG html editor/browser products.

I have stuck with 2:014 because the newer versions seemed to have problems such
as scrambling jpg files or as the most current version does: when I save a file
, it automatically strips out the link to my css file:. Thus
http://www.p2016.org/parties/css/styles.css becomes styles.css. Useless.

This is really a crisis for me. I can't update.

I tried to find out what happened by posting the question on the
Seamonkeyproject discussion board but it doesn't let me create a login identity.

Is there any way they can put up version 2.014? Is there another product out
there that will work? Any ideas whatsoever?

I think any bounce messages from subscriber addresses (e.g. if an
address doesn't exist, or mailbox is full, etc.) go to that address,
instead of to the original sender. The list manager might just ignore
such messages, or some mailing lists I've seen automatically unsubscribe
addresses which continually bounce for more than a certain time.

The copy of a message sent to you has the address you mention in its
headers. If it couldn't be delivered for some reason, your mail server
(or an intermediate server if it didn't even get that far) would send a
message to that address describing the problem. The list software can
then deal with the problem, without bothering the original sender who
probably doesn't want to be bothered with a whole pile of delivery
failure messages every time they post to the list.
