Searching SeaMonkey Bookmarks

2016-05-02 Thread notme
Using the Search Bookmarks function of the SeaMonkey Managing Bookmarks
tool, once you have found a particular bookmark, how do you determine
its current location in the Bookmarks folder hierarchy?

Thanks!

Hey everyone,

This just started with the last update of Seamonkey, but I'm getting
the flash player container hanging and crashing Seamonkey.

I know a few iterations ago of Seamonkey, there was a fix. But for
the life of me I can't figure it out now.

Since then I've gone over to a new computer, though I've moved my
profile, I doubt that the fix carried over with the profile.

Anyone remember how to fix Flash Player container crashing?

Steps to reproduce? All websites, or just certain ones?

Versions of SM and Flash?
(current are 2.40, 21.0.0.213)

Have you tried clearing Flash cookies?

Click "Delete all sites." This doesn't establish a cookie policy, just
deletes existing ones. Set your policy here:

I've been seeing them as "expired." Wonder who's purging them and why.

This happens to me for the majority of posts from OP on newsgroup. I
always assumed that the reason is "X-No-Archive: yes" in his posts and I

I don't think X-No-archive is the issue. I don't think a single Usenet

Anyway please, remove this "X-No-Archive: yes" or put
"X-No-Archive: no" !!!

[3-3-3] How can I add an "X-No-Archive: Yes" header?

In Free Agent this is not built in. (see [3-3-5]
)

For Agent users, this header may be toggled on using...

Group | Default Properties | Post
(see [3-10-5] )

I don't see anything more recent than your 2.46a1. Do you?

The post was also a test to see if I could post about 2.46, since a
poster has trouble posting about 2.43. This isn't a moderated group AFAIK.

I've never understood why people bother to set it in the first place. It
seems to run counter to the 'spirit of conversation' that is Usenet. If
bits of a thread go missing then it is less like a conversation and more
like just overhearing one side of a phone call. Not the most effective
form of communication...
