Re: Do you wish to compact all local and offline folders?

Out of curiosity, why would you want to do that? Something to remember is that when you delete messages from a folder (including moving from one folder to another), the content of the first folder is not actually physically deleted until compacting is done, and indexes are rebuilt. Even if compacting doesn't save more than a trivial amount of space, regular compacting is one of Seamonkey's standard maintenance processes. While there may be reason to set the thresholds higher or lower, depending on your needs, I don't suggest eliminating altogether. Do you wish to compact all local and offline folders to save disc space? This will save about 20.6 MB Well, if you are tight for RAM or HD space, you can get a little bit more space. -- Daniel User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.49.1 Build identifier: 20171016030418 User agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:52.0) Gecko/20100101 SeaMonkey/2.49.1 Build identifier: 20171015235623 ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
