Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon. :)In the
preferences I was only able to find a way to turn off Javascript
for the browser.  There was no preference to turn Javascript on/off
for Mail and Newsgroups.  Maybe turning off Javascript for the browser
will also turn it off for Mail and Newsgroups?  The setting is found
in preferences Preferences->Advanced->Scripts and Plugins.

If you have mail converted to plain text, javascript cannot be used.

I sometimes have to use HTML format. :(

I have done a little more research and it looks as if I might need to
use the S/MIME option in this case, but I am unsure if this is all that
would be needed. I am hopeful that someone here either is doing so now
or has access to both SeaMonkey/Thunderbird and Office 365 and can work
out how this can be done.

Hello people,

I've recently downloaded and installed the latest SeaMonkey Windows setup
package and fortunately most of it works fine, except for one thing: I just
can't send e-mails with the server setup recommended by the local corporate TI
department. Maybe it could be something related to the corporate server which
involves technical details beyond a simple port configuration. Neither used
port currently works with me - neither default SeaMonkey port (port number 587)
nor local corporate TI department's port (port 25). Please help ASAP.

For reading mail, you can do it by connecting to your isp POP3 server -
BUT if you want to send, you need to access your isp SMTP server.

You isp must give you all the needed settings.

There might be something in the documentation, user manual, or support

I have installed the enigmail support in SeaMonkey and want to use it to
communicate securely with my insurance agent. I was just told by him
that they use Office 365 and Office Messaging Encryption (OME) for their
email.

Can enigmail inter-operate with OME in some manner? If so, how do I set
