HLS video capability

2019-06-16 Thread Henrik37 via support-seamonkey
Can HLS video capability be added to SM 2.49.4? If so how? If not,
what is the chances of it being added in the future?

Thanks, in advance, for any level of enlightenment.

Lightning is no longer packaged with SeaMonkey, so there is no mention of it
in the user-agent unless you added it as an extension.

I seem to recall that the SM Devs ARE looking to include Lightning with-in the
package.

But they are experiencing problems A.T.M.

Problems solved. cZ, DOMi and Lightning will come back with 2.49.5. On the
build server right now to apply the finishing touches to the source code.

Nice job! It works with SM 2.49.4 too!!!

As I pointed out on 10/06/19 21:05, the mad browser-sniffer at
whatsapp gets confused by mention of Lightning in the UA as well as
SeaMonkey:

If you use Chris Pederick's UA Switcher extension, "Lightning" still
gets added to the UA string unless you turn it off.
