So to use the default user string do you just delete the agent override 
string totally?
I reset the user override string to make it blank. And, now YouTube 
works, and also Instagram, which also was giving me blank pages!

How?  I used to do that until Firefox dropped the coding supporting the 
setting of Permissions and Seamonkey had to follow suit.

Youtube is rolling out Polymer V2. Optimized for Chrome and only Chrome. 
Firefox works more or less. If you use youtube best use a Chromium based 
browser for it if you have problems.


We are working on backporting the needed fixes for Custom Elements but this 
takes time. Might even be impossible until 2.57.

If you set SeaMonkey to accept cookies for the current session only will be 
the same without the risk of breaking somethin by marking databases read-only.

Firebug has been replaced with the internal developer tools. They still have a 
few rough edges and bugs but are working. Ok replacement together with DOMi.

I use BlueHell Firewall 2.6.4 and uBlock origin 1.16.4.20 :



2.91 is available but not recommended. I had nothing but problems (temporary 
hangs and memory bloat) after 2.82 even with 2.49.x so switched to uBlock 
which is still somehwat maintained.

anymore ?

to reply here i have to open browser, go to groups.google.com, log 
in, browse right here and publish something (like right now).
If in "mail and group" i try to reply to news.mozilla.org, i am 
getting message "this account support only mails. Going ahead groups 
will be ignored".

clicking "OK" and he message is not sent "no destination specified".
I guess something is set wrong or i did not understand something.
Outging sever is smtp all all is fine since years since more than 20 
years with it and mails.
I try groups recently (less than on year)and never successed to reply 
directly from "mails and groups"

to newsgroups from accounts that are classified as news accounts. I 
had to create a separate account with type=news (years ago when I 
first joined mozilla.support.seamonkey).
