It directs me to m.facebook for mobile browsers. How do I get normal facebook on this laptop? This never happened on my other PC's. Are the other PC's running the same version of SM? I had a facebook override in about:config. Deleted it and facebook is now normal. What was the key name? I don't see it in my about:config I use Facebook Purity (FBP) and the display of the pages in FB is due to an algorithm FB changed. The FBP site also offers a temp workaround on their revertsite.com. BUT - it does not always work for everyone and it will stop working for you after a certain amount of time. I have tried in Firefox and Chrome and the new Edge. FB made the changes unilaterally and I don't see the functionality coming back. As it is (for me), I do not like th epush to make things look like the mobile app. I like the customization FBP gave me in controlling what I WANTED to see and not what Zuck wanted us to see. ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
Re: No access to Acronis site
I've been having similar problems with Acronis. Tried differing useragents as well. It works mostly with some but, still ends up with the 503 in the lower left section anyway. I'm using this one for a number of sites; Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:70.0) Gecko/20201001 Firefox/84.1 SeaMonkey/2.53.5.1 It seems to work well. The previous useragent I have still saved on most entries is; Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:46.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/70.0 I have used whatever the newest ms Edge is a few times and even have Firefox installed since I would guess it's a little more secure. I feel that Seamonkey is more secure than either though. I really hope that Mozilla hangs in there. I've seen disturbing articles recently about Mozilla. If it's in your realm of possibility .. even if only to help keep 'em going.. you might consider buying a year of their VPN, or making a donation. Same towards Seamonkey too. I have in both instances.. not a lot but, something. Seamonkey is what I consider to be the current heir to the browser ancestry.. Mosaic/Netscape/Mozilla/Seamonkey .. I think AOL still has the rights to the Netscape name.. it'd be nice if they would just let Seamonkey have those rights. The Netscape site.. *meh, it's like swept under the rug in a far corner of the internet. Re: 32 bit vs 64 bit SeaMonkey
Additionally.. You can open the page which lets you choose which version to download as well.. https://www.seamonkey-project.org/releases/ If I missed seeing it, sorry. Anyway, at this page you can select various distros of SeaMonkey. Hope this helps.
