Hello, When I open the data manager I have only the cookies tab all other tabs (permission, preference, password) are missing => I see a long gray bar at their location Choosing a site where I have password (this password is automatically filled when I log to the site) I have still only the tab cookies and and gray bar at the place of the other tabs The error console shows "Timestamp: 26/12/15 17:55:10 Error: NS_ERROR_FAILURE: Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIURI.host] Source File: chrome://communicator/content/dataman/dataman.js Line: 288" Anybody has the same problem? If I select the left tab: "All data" ==> I have a lot of domain entries. Selecting one gives me only cookies even if a password is present. "Cookies only" ==> a lot of domain entries "Password only" ==> none domain entry The error console shows 3 errors messages related to dataman.js, when I open the data manager: I see two possible reasons: 1) a bug in the script 2) maybe the data are corrupted (index?) I don't remember exactly but I think that it was possible to rebuild these indexes. I think that the data are still present because the different login:password entries still work on the different sites Regards Philippe ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Sorry for the delay, but here the results starting old profile in safe mode doesn't help: problem still exist starting a new profile: problem is not present in the new profile I added the pref.js from the old profile: problem is present So I have removed a line therein, tested , re-added it until I fall on this pref user_pref("dom.disable_image_src_set", true); removing it solved the problem; Thanks for your help Philippe ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
seamonkey 2.38 Linux x86-64: page doesn't load
Hello, Some pages doesn't load on different sites (you.tube,www.videolan, etc..) Fox example this page http://www.videolan.org/vlc/skins.php?sort=downloads displays correctly but if I select one of the proposed download Seamonkey doesn't open the download screen. The tab color change to dark gray clicking a second time restore the original tab. This works correctly with Firefox 41.0.1. In the error console I see no message when selecting one of the proposed skins. Reloading the entire page gives a lot of warning but no errors. In the preferences I unchecked block popups windows but this doesn't change anything the only plugins that I have are java IcedTea, package kit, shockwave (flash) Xine The cookies are allowed for the site Any idea? I learned something today about the bookmarks :-) > > Philippe Hello, I think that the installation/migration to seamonkey V2.35 failed and let a profile unusable for seamonkey 2.35 but still usable by seamonkey 2.31 I solved this problem by moving back to seamonkey 2.31 - I removed all add-ons (add-block, lighning, belgian eid) and language pack - I created a new profile with seamonkey 2.31. and copied therein: - my settings/preferences (pref.js and user.js), - my cookies,(coockies.sqlite) and certifcate (cert8.db) - my logins and passwords (key3.db and login.json) - my mails (mail folder). - I Imported in the new profile the bookmarls.html. After checking that this new profile was fully correct I removed the old profile and switched to seamonkey2.35; This time the installation was succesfully and I have now a correct profile with all my data. In the error console at startup ir had only this error. "Error : DEPRECATION WARNING: PlacesBackups.getMostRecent is deprecated and will be removed in a future version You may find more details about this deprecation at: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=859695 resource://gre/modules/PlacesBackups.jsm 263 PB_getMostRecent resource://gre/components/nsSuiteGlue.js 912 SuiteGlue.prototype._backupBookmarks resource://gre/components/nsSuiteGlue.js 226 SuiteGlue.prototype.observe null 0 null" Regards Philippe ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey

Seamonkey 2.35 (linux x86-64) No more bookmarks
Hello, I had Seamonkey 2.31 installed. I saved the installation folder under a new name. I downloaded the tar.bz archive and extracted it to a new folder. Starting the seamonkey 2.35 I see that the bookmarks are not more displayed only an empty folder is shown I reverted back to seamonkey2.31 and the boormarks are again visible. I have found a folder "bookmarkbackups" with a 1 or 10 file named like "bookmarks-2015-09-05_432_eq3uQe85vRg8yIrjHHCSyA==.jsonlz4" There exist also a bookmarks.html dated from 2015-09-01.
