Richard, how about closing SM totally (including the Quick Launch feature if you use it), open your file manager and locate your inbox file. Rena me the inbox file (the one with-out the .msf) to something different, inbox_broken maybe. Delete the inbox.msf file again. Now re-start SM. A new, empty inbox will be created. Does this fix your problem?? Daniel I did this sir and had no problem. It did create a new folder in my inbox called inbox_broken with all my old messages in it. I want to install the newest SeaMonkey but I do not want to lose all my old e-mails. Richard, when you install the latest SM Ver 2.0.12, it will import your default SM 1.1.18 profile, so your new, empty, inbox, your sent folder and I think the inbox_broken will all be imported into your new SM profile.
