Although many people use web based email (cloud based email), I'd say 
SeaMonkey is more important than ever for those who want to continue to 
use POP3, especially if Mozilla drop Thuderbird.

If Mozilla drops TB, FF and TB will diverge, making the integration
of the two programs much more complicated for SM devs.

These discussions are at a very early stage. Finding the right solution 
requires some effort. This is Mozilla focusing on a more forward looking path, 
one aimed at longer term stability rather than continuing the status quo.




What does it all mean for SeaMonkey? Someone should ask Ms. Baker.
