David, have you checked that you have SeaMonkey set-up to the same
outbound account name and password as you do for Outlook??

Your ISP should not care what program you are using to send you e-mail,
as long as the account name and password are correct.


Also make sure you are sending out the same port on each. Perhaps your
ISP closed a port. You may want to try port 587 and port 25 for outgoing
and see if one works better than the other. My money is they closed 25
and you need to use 587 now. This seems to be a common movement.


Yeap, good advice, I always forget port numbers!! (a.k.a. don't 
understand port numbers!!)

i am using imap.gmail.com for pop and smtp port 587, works fine
