I assume that is the latest version. I'm not sure what to do with the information above about the MD5 for plugin-container.exe . I got another notice from Norton, and marked the program as "trusted." If it is the bundled plugin-container.exe from the SeaMonkey directory tell Norton to bug off. Neither Adrians nor our version are digitally signed yet. plugin-container.exe ?
I'm running SM 2.49.1 under Win-10. Lately I've been getting a Norton warning that something called plugin-container.exe has no valid digital signature. It's happened several times, now, and I'm wondering if I should be concerned or if I should tell Norton to bug off. What's the best way to avoid the slowdown from it? Does 2.6.1 fix it? Before I uninstalled Flash completely from my machines, I noticed the same issue whenever I left a tab open for an extended period of time with a Flash video loaded. Banner ads, YouTube videos, etc would all do this. Obviously not using Flash is an extreme solution, or closing tabs with Flash video when you're done is cumbersome, but it seemed to work for me. -- Cheers, Ruben Schade @Rubenerd on Twitter http://RubenSchade.com/ http://Rubenerd.com/ ___ support-seamonkey mailing list support-seamonkey@lists.mozilla.org https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/support-seamonkey
