Oh, and in about:data for mozilla.org under Permissions, the addons.mozilla.org sts/subd is changed from Allow to Block. I change it back to Allow and it changes back to Block. The usual recipe for these things is to restart SM with all add-ons disabled, and if that solves the problem, enable one at a time until the problem recurs. That's the guilty party.
