Seems I remember a time when there was no such thing as about:blank I just updated my G5 iMac running Leopard to SM 2.0.1, and is it not behaving as I describe in the original post - when I open SM, it opens with the Browser window in front. The only things I can see I've done different from my Intel iMac and MacBook Pro are that at present, I do not have SM assigned to a Space (I'll try that later...) and that I think I got the disk image from another mirror than I got my previous install from - I have no idea which mirror(s), but I got my disk image from the SM site in both cases. ...that, and Lep vs Sno-Lep.
