Switching between SeaMonkey's e-mail client's tabs.

2015-03-20 Thread Ant

Hello.

Is there a way to disable the annoying back to the top of the e-mail
when switching to its tab that I scrolled down earlier?

Thank you in advance. :)

Is it that list of emails ("thread pane") or the message shown in the
message pane that you're trying to stop scrolling?

The thread pane seems to scroll not necessarily to the top, but so that
the message currently shown in the message pane is visible in the list.
If you either hide the message pane, or select a message which is
currently visible in the thread pane list, it doesn't scroll the thread
pane when returning to the tab - may or may not be acceptable as a
workaround.

I can't quickly find a way to stop the message pane scrolling back to
the top.

It looks like this is already reported:

Similar issue on Thunderbird; may be shared code:

That would be the e-mail (top left folder and server lists, right top is
my message list, and bottom is my selected mail I am reading).
