Me too. Probably under Edit | Preferences | Browser | Helper 
Applications: you set the file type to "ask me."


For advertising, I highly recommend the add-in "AdBlock Plus," which 
will kill the dancing gerbils and other nonsense advertisers use to 
distract you.

Well, sometimes when you mess up a setting it works out for the best. 
Somehow or other I stopped Flash from automatically launching and I just 
see a grey box that says "click here to activate plugin".
I really like that. It also stopped a lot of advertising that I don't 
want to load and view.
Of course maybe I'm taking credit for something that is a feature of 
Seamonkey, I don't know.
