I'm currently dog-sitting for my youngest sister whilst here family
visit her husbands relo's in Scotland and England.
Last night, after doing my normal Interneting, I thought I might try
getting my Win7 Laptop to connect via their Wireless modem, so I went
"Off-Line" in SeaMonkey actually on the Mail & News screen, then I
closed that screen and then closed the Chatzilla screen, leaving my
Browser screen open, but "Off-Line".
I then turned of my USB 3G dongle connection via the Win7 "Wireless
Broadband" connectiod-thingie.
I then found that I could not actually turn on the Wireless connection
because the Orange keyboard thingie stayed Orange.
No great problem ... I might investigate it further later.
But, before I closed the SeaMonkey Browser screen, I switched back to
"On-Line". I then closed SeaMonkey and switched my Laptop off.
Tonight, after connecting via my 3G USB Dongle, I started SeaMonkey and
went to my e-mail account and found all my Trash from yesterday
still there!
At Edit|Mail & Newsgroups Account Settings, when I select "Server
Settings" on my Mail account, I still see a tick next to "Empty Trash on
Exit" under Message Storage.
So my question is Is this Exit when I Exit the Mail & Newsgroups screen
or when I Exit SeaMonkey as a whole?? (I'm wondering why exiting my
Browser screen or my ChatZilla screen or my .. should determine when
my Trash should actually be emptied rather than when I Exit my Mail &
Newsgroups screen!)
