Where are the things like the address books, email files, bookmarks,
etc., being kept now?

They are stored under the profile directory, which on Windows 7 by
default is located in
c:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\SeaMonkey\Profiles\.default.
Bookmarks are in a sqlite database places.sqlite. Mail and news are
in directories under the profile directory.

Thanks, Jim, that's where I expected them to be ... but ... I don't seem
to have a directory under (which is ) called \AppData\.
Could it be hidden?

Yes. You can make it appear either by:
- Enabling viewing hidden folders in Explorer at Organize/Folder and
Search Options/View,
- Or, for a one-time thing, type %APPDATA% on the address bar. It will
take you to the c:\Users\\AppData\Roaming folder.

Well -- said "show all folders" and it's not there. Tried the %appdata%
and it didn't find it.
What's the name of the Personal contact file? Maybe I can do a search on
that. I tried doing a Search on APPDATA and it showed me things under
WINDOWS. This is very strange.

Thanks.

This page should answer all your questions, and enable you to find the
