Here is what I found that does work. The Firefox extension
YouTube Flash Player

You cannot directly use it, because it is marked for Firefox-only but
can be converted with
Add-on Converter for SeaMonkey

Once converted it installs and when you go to Youtube you have the ol'
Flash player and your fullscreen!

YouTube Flash Viedo Player will work in SeaMonkey without any modification.

Cool! Much better. Can get fullscreen (sortof) with HTML5 if you
full-screen-api.enabled and full-screen-api.content-only checked to
TRUE, else the right-click > FullScreen only produces a black screen

Youtube HTML5.
The little full screen box icon thing does not work with HTML5 in FF
2.26.1,
however if you right click on the video then click Full Screen it does
open full screen.
The box icon thing does work with FF 27.

They give instructions to get full screen for Firefox here:

https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6276924

but that doesn't work for SM 2.35

Thanks Jonathan.
Got the add-on but will continue using html5 for the time being.

Which video? Are you sure you have the extension enabled? If you right-click
video is
should show that it is Flash if extension is enabled.

Oh, sorry. I down loaded it and converted it but did not install.
Don't really need it since right click and play works just fine for me.

I've had a similar experience lately with 2.33.1, but not with all
videos. If I took the time, I could probably figure out if the bad ones
were HTML5. I use VLC to play Flash vids and have no trouble with them.
