Hi Daniel, thanks for your reply.

Well, google certainly does produce many warnings (mostly "-webkit-*"
stuff ignored...), but not a single errors.

Right now, Seamonkey froze a full 25 seconds when loading G+ start page.
Some content was already there, the rest was loaded and displayed within
2 seconds after the freeze.

During the freeze, the message bar said "Connecting to ssl.gstatic.com".

Cheers, Tom.

Hello Everybody, just to let you know:

I created a new profile, and now the freezes on Javascript-heavy
sites are gone, also Seamonkey feels a bit faster overall now.

So, despite "everything working fine", it's probably still recommended to
create a new profile after a handful of upgrades.

Creating a new profile is not as painful as it used to be, thanks to
to the "sync", but of course it's an ugly experience, especially with
the many mail settings...

Cheers, Tom.

This has been happening for the last few Seamonkey Releases, currently I'm
on 2.6.1 on SuSE Linux.

It's probably not related to google, but to the fact that they are doing
some very heavy JavaScript magic there.

On the G+, I notice that it's always the message/event counter ("0" if there
are no notifications) in the top right header bar that is missing. While it
is missing, nothing in seamonkey works, not even changing to another mail in
the mail window. The rest of the system behaves normally (no big load etc)

In normal use, seamonkey comes back after maybe half a minute.

I have had occasions where I'd "saved current tabs" (google among them) but
the tabs never completed loading on the next start. This is easily reproducable.
When I click "Stop" in all tabs and reload them one-by-one, eventually I can
get them back to work.

I wonder how I could provide better debug info. Tried with gdb, but my C times
are long gone, been programming in Java for years now...

Any ideas appreciated...

Cheers, Tom.

Tom, I am unable to assist you, but maybe others might be able to assist
if you could supply the Error Console data.

First, go to Tools->Web Development and select Error Console and select
the "Clear" Button. Then close SeaMonkey, re-start, load your igoole
page (or whatever, then see if there are any messages in the Error
Console, and, if so, quote them so others might be able to advise.

The Google home page is at. I don't see a
problem there.

Where is the iGoogle home page?

Sorry about that. Still having issues, though I've tried several
suggestions from posters.

I think I may have an issue with a weather map, that is usually when it
locks up, loading the map.

iGoogle SeaMonkey and Win7 and all work fine here. Not sure what problem
could be,you may try creating a new user account just for testing and
see what that does for you.
