Reply to sa...@sureitinc.com and satya.sur...@gmail.com * * *Title: Project Manager with Agile experience* *Location: Kansas City, MO* *Duration: 6+ Months* *Agile Project Manager* * * Roles and Responsibilities • Utilize experience with Agile software development paradigms to help drive projects and manage/coordinate multiple initiatives and development teams (including offshore). • Interface with business, application developers and IT Technical staff to ensure project timelines are being hit. • Assist client & internal Product Owners in developing Product Backlogs. • Facilitate all necessary team meetings (Sprint planning, daily standups, feedback meetings, sprint reviews/retrospectives, etc.). • Conduct Release Planning meetings. • Packaging requirements sets for delivery to offshore development teams, and maintaining ongoing communication with the teams to ensure they are on track. • Facilitate estimation meetings. • Coordinate and drive projects to be on time, within budget and meeting deliverables. • Coordinating multiple project dependencies and "moving parts" to ensure that project deliverables are achieved on time and budget. • Remove impediments to team progress. • Gather/report all relevant Agile metrics (i.e. burndown charts, Team velocity, etc.). Requirements • Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum roles, artifacts, and framework. • Comprehension of Agile values and principles. • Must have 3-5 years of IT Project Management experience and over 7 years of overall IT experience. • Must have several years of leading application development efforts. Strongly prefer custom application development efforts. Must have experience leading an application development effort that was led using Agile or Scrum Methodology. • Must be a “driver” and not a project administrator. Want someone who will proactively drive project and hold multiple parties accountable for hitting their deliverables and keeping the project on the critical path • Must have excellent communication skills. Will interact with business users and managers, developers, IT Technical staff and IT Managers.
