Re: [Biofuel] Xenophobic email for 'Merikans - tax question
yknow, im reading this example certificate, and i dont see any stipulation for exceeding the ASTM standards. does this mean if the sample is better than ASTM, it is no good? Thanks Mike yikes! I just finished my taxes and now more calculations! I really don't drive much and the TDI get minimum 700 mpg/tankful so I've only burned a little. So far I've been writing it down. Thanks Again Mike McGinness wrote: Mike, I think I found the answer, or at least where to start trying to decode the answer. In Wisconsin there's a simple form to fill out and mail in with a check. But AFAIK, the taxes are only state level since they go towards state roads. Ryan, a.k.a a new guys who is mostly lurking. Re: [Biofuel] Xenophobic email for 'Merikans - tax question
Mike, I would ask the state comptroller first for the state you live in. Here are 2 links for the state of Texas (where I live and know how to easily find the answer): http://www.window.state.tx.us/taxinfo/fuels/biodiesel.pdf http://www.window.state.tx.us/ It seems from the first link above that the state of Texas has exempted biodiesel, B-100, or that portion which is biodiesel from taxation.
