Well, best to consider the source.
I remember the days when I used to listen to Paul Harvey in my dad's car as
he picked us up from and returned us to school for lunch. (Gasoline and home
cooked was cheaper than the school lunch, or restaurant in his case, and he
wasn't about to have his over worked wife pack a herd of individual lunches
when only one meal needed to be prepared.)
Mr. Harvey has changed a lot over the last four decades, becoming
demonstratively opinionated in nearly every other sentence and overbearingly
conservative, heavily pro big agri-business, even if it primarily serves
mega-corps and not the actual farmer. Last time I heard him a week or so ago
I was startled into a reality check, as he sounded more like a PR man for
both Monsanto and ADM, rather than the reasonably balanced radio personality
I had last remembered him to be.
That doesn't mean that he's wrong on biodiesel, just that he ain't your
grandma's Paul Harvey.
