Try small test-batches first, as ever. Make sure to keep the stuff dry, close the lid quickly and tight, even transfer and weigh it out it inside plastic bags if the weather's very wet. Make sure too that it's still dry in the first place when you buy it. If all the pearls are stuck together in a lump there's been a moisture leak. It'll still work as drain cleaner but not so well with biodiesel (though you could probably just use more of it, if you adjust the proportions in an organised sort of way).
