The one that requires the least amount of energy inputs per gallon and pound of product and co-product yield. Different types of oil require different amounts of methanol for transesterification. Beyond all that, it depends whether you're just buying the stuff, or considering producing the crops themselves, in which case there are a lot more aspects to consider.
