>From the look of it, the DXF file is being converted into paper space rather than into drawing space, and the scaling is in screen coord rather than in drawing coordinates. Maybe there is an option in the converter to keep the drawings in engineering units...? Of course, if you do find a solution, the problem then will be that the origin will be in the wrong place since DXF places the origin in a different place than SVG does. [svg-developers] DXF to SVG conversion
I try to evaluate a DXF2SVG converter but I found a problem. I need to convert DXF files in SVG format mantaining dimensions. If in DXF format I have 100mm diameter circle with 0,0 center coordinates position, I would like to have an SVG draw with the same situation.This because, after ina 2nd phase of process, I have to merge 2 or 3 SVG files and they must preserve reciprocal position and dimension.
