determine the size, type and space in between the front symbols. The

ive one idea to improve the script.
in line 43
svgRoot.appendChild(group);
should be
front.parentNode.insertBefore(group,front)
so you can place the fopa:front elements anywhere in your document.
beside that, it looks really cool.
