The = Nope, didn't get that one. It's not the first time someone's tried this and won't be the last. My favorite was when someone registered paypai.com. Capitalize the I ("paypaI.com") and it looks like the correct address in a sans serif font, which both Netscape and IE happen to use in their address bar. Re: [SWCollect] Paypal scam Email ?
Just for fun, I filled it out with some fake info. Absolutely no error-checking at all. Everything I entered went through. Got the page it takes you to: http://pub13.bravenet.com/emailfwd/senddata.php. Think I'm gonna set up a script to bombard them with crap. Re: [SWCollect] Paypal scam Email ?
This is DEFINITELY a scam. Anything that doesn't use a secure site (https) and end in paypal.com is not a real PayPal site. - Original Message - From: CcomputerGameCollector To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, November 23, 2002 6:44 PM Subject: [SWCollect] Paypal scam Email ? [SWCollect] CPU/computer designations
Hi, some guy wants to get some games for a really old laptop and palmtop. One has an 8088 processor with mono graphics, the other a 80186 with CGA B+W graphics. My question is what CPUs were installed in what computers, what I think is the 8088/86 was in IBM PC, 186 XT, 286 AT, is this true? Many of my games use the AT/XT/PC designation, not actual CPU. Thanks, Tom
[SWCollect] Another huge auction
If any of you are interested: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1940900086 Only thing on there that would slightly interested me is the Commodore US 8 calculator. Perhaps he should have sold some of those items seperately. There is just too many loose disks on there to warrant $1000.
